We toured Iceland's "Ring Road" in August 2013. This was a six-day adventure taking us around the nation's coast road. The trip was one of dramatic scenery and a feeling of remoteness. Communities are small and far apart. Though now paved all the way, this road includes two lengthy (multiple kilometers long) single lane tunnels (think about that for a second).
