Mill Race - Mission Mill
Mission Mill dates back to 1898. Used primarily for processing wool, it was built at the outer edge of Salem, Oregon and used a mill stream coming off the Santiam River as a power source. The city has since surrounded the property (it is about three blocks away from our Salem residence). It is maintained as a museum with a cafe and a few art shops.
