Crooked River Bridge
The Crooked River Bridge served as a vital link for US 97 in Central Oregon. The deck is 295 feet (90 m) above the canyon floor. Built in 1926, it was unable to keep up with the growing traffic demands and was replaced by the wider bridge built next to it (but outside of the photo). This span is now open to pedestrians.
