Located on a high plateau that ends abruptly at the southern edge of the Columbia River, Morrow County is a vast mostly treeless area. Large farms cover the area as grain can be easily transported down the Columbia to the sea for export to Asian markets. The empty looking plateau is dotted with massive grain elevators.
