Prairie House - Back Door
Though it was obvious the prairie house had been abandoned for some decades, this large piece of cloth still hung at the back door. While standing their setting up and taking the photo, I thought it was a towel. But, the more I looked at the photograph, I thought it might be a jacket or sweatshirt. In any event it likely served hard working people coming into the comfort of the house after a long day of farm chores.
