Driving along the Historic Columbia Highway (see:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historic_Columbia_River_Highway), I passed over this small bridge in the forest on the Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge. The scene captured the area's transition from winter to spring with the ferns and other foliage well developed, but the moss still hanging on. This small stream is seasonal and will likely be dry by the end of July.
