Leslie Gulch is located in far eastern Oregon near the Idaho/Oregon border. It is over 400 miles from Portland and the nearest city is Boise (82 miles). It is within a vast section of "open range," accessible only by an "unimproved road" that dead ends after 23 miles. Leslie Gulch - the looks of it and the name, itself, are like something out of a John Ford movie.
