Wilson’s Arch … just as the sun was coming up over the horizon (on the other side of the arch).

Wilson’s Arch is not even inside the Arches National Park. It is alongside and above a highway. We left Moab, Utah well before dawn. The sky was absolutely clear and it was evident we were going to get some awesome light. I have an app that tells me the direction and time of the sunrise. When we arrived at Wilson’s Arch, I got the feeling this could be a good photo in the making. While next to US 191, I had to scramble up a steep slope to get to this vantage point for the photo and be there at the right moment.
