Dark Light is an ongoing project of low light compositions - all captured in Salem, Oregon.

The contrast between light and dark permits the viewer to focus on elemental properties of the image. In a way, this is when darkness illuminates, as opposed to obscure, one's perspective. "Seeing in the dark" becomes something more than a term of art. It becomes art.
