The Beach at Night
An extended exposure captured the star-filled sky at night.
Note: The camera was pointed north - showing the North Star as unmoving. Notice how close to the horizon the North Star appears. Declination of the North Star to the Horizon shows the latitude of the point from which the declination is measured. Hawaii is not just west - it is also south.
