Travaasa - Hana
We chose to make Travaasa our base of operations for the photo project. It is an old resort located on the Hana coast which is on the east side of Maui. Hana is a tiny town consisting of one gas station, two small stores selling groceries, a series of food trucks and the resort. Georgia O'Keeffe stayed here for three months in 1939.
