Place du Tertre is a famouse plaza square in the heart of the Montmartre artists neighborhood. This area was the favorite of the impressionist painters. When I visited this lovely square in March of this year, it was was quiet and empty. In October, the weather is still nice and the place was packed with tour bus escapees and street artists trying their best to look "authentic."
