This is a photo of the alluvial fan of Shingle Mill Creek at Fern Cove at low tide. Fern Cove is located on Vashon Island in the state of Washington. The photo was captured for the Vashon Nature Center.

While visiting a friend who lives on the island, I was flying my drone to get some photos. I was approached by a curious person who said she was also a photographer. She mentioned a project for the local Nature Center and asked if the drone could photograph a location from above ... and then gave me directions to the point of interest. The following day I set out and found the site and captured a couple photos and a short video. Interesting project ...
