Short Bridge
Oregon has over 50 covered bridges that remain in use. Many have been converted to ped/bike bridges. But, others, like this one, continue to be used for local roadways.
Known more commonly as the Whiskey Butte Bridge, this covered bridge was renamed for a long-time area resident, Gordon Short. It is one of the few remaining covered bridges to have a wooden shingle roof.
