From Another Era
I converted to digital format in 1997… making me an early adopter to digital. Before that I went through a series of 35mm cameras – starting with an Argus C4 given to me for my 16th birthday (1961). Film was expensive and I bought cheap off brand film stock often not having prints made. But, I kept all the negatives…
I have been scanning old negatives … and every now and then come across a “worthy” photo. This one dates from the early 1980’s and was captured on the Door Peninsula in Wisconsin. The camera was probably an Olympus OM-1. The cheapie film is grainy, but the image works.
