Perla
The Perla or "Pearl" is a unique structure located on another high point in Reykjavik. It consists of five large tanks which store the city's thermal hot water supply. Two restaurants and a viewing platform are then located in the "bubble" on top g the tanks. The thermal hot water supply is piped to residents for use as hot water and for heating.
